The presence of music in our schools and communities is recognized as being more important than ever before.
Symphony Nova Scotia is committed to engaging young listeners and developing their love of music through various education and outreach programs for youth of all ages.
With the support of many generous donors and sponsors, Symphony Nova Scotia produces acclaimed school programs such as Adopt-a-Musician, In-School Concerts, and School Matinees to more than 8,000 children each year.
But the need for our services is greater than we are currently able to fulfill, especially for schools and communities in need. The annual cost for our programs is more than $180,000, while revenues account for less than $70,000.
Your gift also supports our popular and accessible community programs such as Musical Munchkins, the Library Series, and Adopt-a-Musician.
