The Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation
Symphony Nova Scotia is supported in part by the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation, an independent capital fund supervised by a voluntary Board of Trustees.
The Foundation exists to provide a reliable source of funding to support exceptional projects, protect the Symphony from fluctuations in annual resources, and ensure that the orchestra's music will live on for future Nova Scotians to enjoy.
Each gift to the Foundation increases the annual interest income which is available to support the music of Symphony Nova Scotia.
Giving to the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation
The Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation welcomes gifts of all sizes. Significant gifts can receive special recognition in accordance with the wishes of the donor.
Symphony Nova Scotia has recently embarked its Listen to the Future Endowment Campaign, with a goal of raising $5 million to add to the Foundation's existing base of $3 million. Click here to learn more about how you can support the Foundation through Listen to the Future.
Ways to support the Foundation include:
• A gift of cash • The transfer of publicly-traded securities • A bequest identified in your will • The designation of the Symphony Nova Scotia Foundation as a beneficiary in an insurance policy
Leadership gifts can receive special recognition in accordance with the wishes of the donor. Named funds recognizing a donor or a donor’s loved ones represent a wonderful opportunity to pay tribute to family and friends.
