Halifax’s own Denise Djokic is one of Canada’s top cellists, praised worldwide for her poise and power.
Now, she returns home to perform Saint-Saëns’ Cello Concerto, one of the best known and
most loved cello concertos of all time. This classic is paired with another masterwork – Schubert’s majestic, exhilarating Symphony no. 8, “The Great”.
