Venues
Most of our concerts, including Celebrity Classics, Pops concerts, Maritime concerts, Scandinavian Festival concerts, and all special concerts, take place at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium.
The Rebecca Cohn is located in the Dalhousie Arts Centre at 6101 University Avenue, Halifax, Nova Scotia. For a map, click here.
Our Baroque concerts take place at the historic St. Andrews United Church in downtown Halifax. St. Andrews United Church is on the corner of Robie Street and Coburg Road.
Parking
Parking near the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium is available on the street outside the auditorium or in Dalhousie University parking lots throughout the campus after 7:00 pm. There are also two parkades available – one is located between Seymour and Henry Streets, while the other is in the basement of Dalhousie’s Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences building on Seymour Street. Both parkades have "pay and park" dispensers.
Parking at St. Andrews United Church is available on the street.
Refreshments
Bar and candy cart service is available in the Dalhousie Arts Centre lobby prior to concerts and during intermission. Please note that no food or drink is allowed in the auditorium.
Dining
Symphony Nova Scotia's preferred restaurant is Saege Bistro, located at 5883 Spring Garden Road, a five-minute walk from the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium.
Saege has been listed in "Where to Eat in Canada" and has been named an award-winning restaurant by the Coast.
On concert evenings, Saege Bistro offers Symphony attendees a special "Symphony Presto menu". This exclusive menu, offered between 5:00 and 6:30 pm on concert evenings, comes with a guarantee that patrons can dine within one hour.
The Presto Menu includes a choice of three starters, three entrees and three desserts plus coffee and tea – patrons can choose one of each for $30.00.

Accommodations
Symphony Nova Scotia is proud to partner with two of Halifax's premiere hotels, The Prince George Hotel and The Lord Nelson Hotel. Both hotels offer significant discounts to Symphony Nova Scotia season ticket holders.
• The Prince George Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Halifax, a fifteen-minute walk from the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium. The Prince George offers personalized hotel service with luxurious guestrooms and suites, and is the home of the award-winning Gio restaurant.

• The Lord Nelson Hotel is located a ten-minute walk from the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium at the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street.
